Terms for using Marknest and keeping control of your Markdown files.

The service and these terms
These terms govern use of Marknest, operated by AlphaBlue in Thailand. Use the service only where you can enter a binding agreement under applicable law. Contact support@marknest.net with questions. The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials and devices. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for the permissions you grant to integrations or public links. Tell Support if you suspect unauthorized access. Never give Support your password or verification codes.
Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of your documents and attachments. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, synchronize and deliver content for the service features you use. You must have the right to upload or share that content. Local Markdown files and original assets remain accessible outside Marknest using compatible tools.
Acceptable use
Do not use Marknest for unlawful content or activity, infringement, abuse, unauthorized access, malware, or interference with other users or the service. Do not bypass access controls, plan limits or security restrictions. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal obligations. Contact Support to question an action.
Local storage and synchronization
Keep copies of important files. Offline editing depends on the files having been downloaded and on available local storage and directory access. Sync may be delayed, and conflicts require review. Each device should use its own Library and synchronize through Marknest; concurrent use of the same provider directory on multiple devices is outside the supported workflow. Third-party providers control their own availability, versions and retention.
Plans and payments
Cloud usage is subject to the limits of your plan. Any web subscription price, renewal interval and cancellation terms are shown when you subscribe. The native app does not offer purchases. Account deletion cancels active Stripe subscriptions through background cleanup without waiting for the billing period to end; it does not issue an automatic refund. Contact Support for billing errors or legally required remedies. Nothing here limits statutory refund or consumer rights.
Closing your account
You can request deletion through the native account settings or Support. Verified acceptance stops cloud access and begins asynchronous cleanup. Download anything you wish to keep first. Local Libraries, recovery copies and provider-managed files remain under your control. Minimal legally required financial records and time-limited recovery copies are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Marknest reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, successful third-party storage operations or freedom from all data loss. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available. This does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
Other terms and changes
Apple's standard end-user license agreement applies to the App Store app unless a separate applicable license is supplied. These service terms do not replace rights granted by Apple or mandatory local law. We may update service terms and will communicate material changes through an appropriate service channel. Contact support@marknest.net to resolve questions or disputes; mandatory protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
